Our Enfield Children’s Home is a warm, nurturing, and safe environment designed to meet the holistic needs of young people aged 8–17 who may have experienced trauma, neglect, or family breakdown. The home provides individualised care and support in line with each young person’s placement plan and statutory care plan, ensuring that all aspects of emotional, social, and educational development are promoted.
The property consists of five spacious, well-furnished bedrooms, each offering privacy and comfort, allowing young people to create their own personal space. Communal areas include a large lounge, games room/relaxation room, dining room, and modern kitchen where young people are encouraged to develop independent living skills through guided participation in meal preparation and household tasks. A private garden offers safe outdoor space for recreation and relaxation.
The home is staffed 24 hours a day by a highly trained and experienced team who receive regular supervision and ongoing professional development in areas such as safeguarding, trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and emotional regulation. The staff team builds consistent and trusting relationships with young people, promoting resilience, positive behaviour, and long-term stability.
Education and health outcomes are central to the home’s ethos. We work in close partnership with local schools, health professionals, and social workers to ensure every young person receives the right support. The home is managed in accordance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards, maintaining a focus on safety, positive relationships, and achieving the best possible outcomes for children in our care.
